(“CSSPI,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), through DRR.center and the associated mobile applications (DRR Help, DRR Team, DRR EvacSys, DRR Radio Tracker, collectively the “DRR Applications”), collects, uses, shares, and protects your personal data.

We are committed to safeguarding your privacy in accordance with the Data Privacy Act of 2012 (RA 10173) and other applicable laws of the Republic of the Philippines.

• User – Any individual who accesses or uses the DRR Applications.

• Media Content – Photos, videos, or recordings captured or uploaded via the DRR Applications.
• Government Entities – Duly authorized Philippine government agencies and local government units (LGUs).

2. Device Information – IP address, operating system, device identifiers, and activity logs.
3. Location Information – Precise or approximate location data, when enabled.
4. Media Content – Photos, videos, or recordings captured through your device’s camera and uploaded to DRR Applications.
5. Usage Data – Application performance metrics, error logs, and interaction patterns.

3. Purpose of Collection

We collect information for the following purposes:

• Facilitation of disaster risk reduction, response, and recovery.
• Verification of evacuee and responder identities.
• Monitoring and reporting of evacuation center operations.
• Communication with users during emergencies.
• Compliance with legal obligations and support of government-led disaster management initiatives.

4. Media Content and Intellectual Property

By using the camera or uploading any Media Content:

• You irrevocably grant CSSPI, DRR.center, and relevant Government Entities a worldwide, perpetual, royalty-free license to use, copy, modify, distribute, publish, and display such Media Content for purposes related to disaster risk reduction, research, training, public safety, and government reporting.
• You waive any moral rights to such content, to the extent permitted by law.
• You acknowledge that such Media Content may be stored, reproduced, and disclosed to authorized agencies without further notice or compensation.

5. Sharing of Information

We may disclose information:

• To Government Entities for disaster management, evacuation, and public safety.
• To service providers and contractors engaged to support operations.
• As required by law, regulation, or court order.
• To protect the safety, security, or rights of individuals.

6. Data Retention

• Personal Data will be retained only as long as necessary for legitimate purposes or as required by law.
• Media Content submitted may be retained indefinitely for archival, research, or public safety purposes.

7. Data Security

We employ industry-standard administrative, physical, and technical measures to secure your information. However, you acknowledge that no system is fully secure, and you assume reasonable risk when transmitting data.

8. Your Rights

Under Philippine law, you have the right to:

• Be informed of the collection and processing of your data.
• Access, correct, or request deletion of your Personal Data.
